time for a new journal. it's only been over two years.

thanks to my friend and his friend i was able to attend this year's oni-con. it was halloween and i considered dressing up as a zombie (again), but i wasn't sure how much makeup and skin and blood i had, so i didn't. it was also cold that morning and i didn't want to ruin any of the nice warm clothes i had. after seeing several resident evil cosplayers, i wished i had just done it regardless. there was a wesker (which is in my gallery), a claire redfield, HUNK, and even ada wong. ada was beautiful and i wanted to get a photograph of her, but i only saw her once or twice in a mob of people and then she seemed to disappear forever.

after a day chock-full of trying to sell art, watching the cosplayers go by, and listening to the SAME SONG OVER AND OVER, we all went to eat delicious mexican food. and afterwards...

chris drove me to the motherland so i could take note of where the cat woman lives. no, not catwoman. catwoman does not equal the cat woman. the cat woman is a local legend from where chris grew up and i've heard is TOTALLY REAL. she's either a half cat/half human or some woman that was raised by feral cats and is now too far removed from the civilized world to ever go back. i'ma go with the former. supposedly on halloween night at midnight or the witching hour or on nights where there's a full moon or a blue moon or a red moon or when the cow jumps over the moon or even on a night just like tonight, if you venture off into the woods you may find yourself face to face with the dread cat woman. the cat woman has been known to hole herself up in a shack in the woods. this shack is bare, save for a candle that burns a green flame. i guess if you happen to go in there, you'll get attacked and probably killed. chris swears up and down that he saw the cat woman stalking him and his friends one halloween night at the local park. it's a big, dark place at night in a small, small town so i don't know. maybe it was... just a possum or something.

oh yeah. i also learned a new trade! i worked a button maker! skill level up!
